Halloween and Scott

I wanted to post pictures from Halloween. These are pictures off of my phone of the pumpkins we carved. Brooke's - Frankenstein, Matt's - funny face, and Steve's - haunted house. I wish I had some pictures from the party we had the night before Halloween. The Lewis' and us hosted and their cousins and Bruce and Jill were there. The guys had a splash tourtement and I'm not sure what the girls did; but it was way fun.

Also SCOTT is back from Hungary! NANANANANANANANA!

Fish!

So just yesterday, Brooke and I went and bought some fish for our fish tank we just had set up; and Brian and Lisa came along. We ended up buying 3 Mollies to start off with, and they are so cool. They are kind of hard to see in the pictures but, we have 3: 1 black, 1 dalmatian, and one yellow belly molly. There names are "Black Jack, Sawyer, and Kate."

Here are some pictures of our fish tank (the actual tank - The NANO Cube , and some of the big rocks were inherited from my brother Ryan).

So we named them with a "LOST" theme since we have been watching it recently and we really like it; we are also going to add 2 more fish in a week, and at least one of them will be called "Murray" (the manager from Flight of the Conchords). We have been trying to convince our friends, the Lewis' and the Hansen's to get into LOST, but only the Lewis' have taken the challenge so far!

As for Brooke, she has been working full time for a company that does research on drugs for pharmaceutical companies. She really enjoys it; but she does not enjoy the commute. As for me, I am going to school full time for the Spring and will be doing a little selling on eBay on the side. We have been married for 5 months now, and we have been having so much fun together. We have been playing a lot of games lately together, and with our friends, and we really enjoy splash, mexican train, and Brooke loves this game called "nerts" (she always kills me at it).

Well that is the update for now!

Mexico!

We went on our honeymoon to Playa del Carmen and visited nearby cities. It was so fun! Here are some pictures...

Wedding, Honeymoon, Christmas, and more!

Brooke and I were married November 21st! Here are some pictures of the wedding and Brooke's bridals. I still need to upload some more and some pictures from Mexico.

Since the honeymoon to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, we have moved to Provo, painted our apartment, Brooke has been applying for jobs, had an awesome Christmas vacation, and I have started school again. (pretty consise update!)

We had alot of time to hang out with friends and be with family which has been awesome. We saw a hand full of movies with family and friends, learned some new games, and discovered some new foods we love.

Anyways, this is a very fast update. I'll try to elaborate more next post and add some more pictures; and I will also try to post a picture of our new place and maybe a picture of my new toy helicopters I got from Santa!

Chile and Travis' Wedding

So Brooke is in Chile picking up her twin brothers with her family for 10 days (her parents have been down in South America on a tour for a month and a half). I was glad to know that she made it there finally; especially after the first day her flight to her connecting flight from Atlanta to Chile got canceled.
But she is there now! It will be fun to see her brothers again; and it's also cool to think that I have hung out with them a couple of times already - Brooke and I have been dating for over 2 years!

I just got back from Texas yesterday. I flew down there with Brian to go to Travis' wedding. It was so fun; Catholic weddings are really rowdy and wild. It was fun to see all of my friends from high school and be groom's men with the ole crew; but most of the time Adam, Brian, and I just chilled. It was also great to be able to give a toast to my oldest friend.

I also recently put a "countdown" timer on my computer that is counting down till our wedding. And right now it says 31 days left! I am so excited to get married to Brooke!

Just yesterday I was editing pictures again, and I really liked this one from our engagements...

China!

Here are some pictures from China!

This is me in front of the Temple of Heaven!!
During my cruise on the Yangtze River, we stopped and toured one of the largest dams in the world. This book explains the Dam project of the Yangtze River.
On the Yangtze River....

Of course my favorite part of the entire trip... The Great Wall of China. It was incredible.

My favorite city was Shanghai because every street looked like this!!

If you have been watching the Beijing 2008 Olympics, you may have seen the Forbidden City.

In Chinese culture lions are lucky. In front of many buildings there were two lions, one female and one male. This is the male lion in front of our hotel in Beijing.

Summer Baby!

Hey, this is Stephen. We haven't done this in a while so I'm going to write a little.
So, the wedding is getting really close now and we have got a lot done. I really shouldn't take much credit because Brooke and her mom have been doing most of the work. This summer has been really busy and full of activities. Brooke went to China (which we need to post pictures for), to Lake Powell, and is planning on going to Chile with her family to pick up her brothers from their missions. She also recently got her bottom two wisdom teeth out. As for me, I just got back from Newport Beach, and have mostly been working; and 3 weeks ago i cut off the corner of my thumb with a hatchet (not to bad) when we were up the canyon with the Johnson's having a fire; and I had to go to the hospital to stop the bleeding.
That is just a quick update.
And I wish I had some pictures of Brooke from her trips, but I am going to post a couple of pictures from California... Jody has credit for taking these pictures...

My "solo shot" in front of the princess castle

My dad bought us all Tommy Bahama shirts and we all wore them to dinner one night. Mine felt a little big...

Next blog there will be more Brooke!

Last week I graduated from Westminster College! Thanks everyone for all of your love and support! Stephen was very happy because his parents flew him in for the weekend from Sacramento to see me graduate. Here are some pictures from the graduation...
